The staff at Hawthorne House stands ready to provide you with exceptional, individualized service that will help take the stress out of planning your special day. We specialize in weddings and receptions and understand the importance of making your wedding day run smoothly. Since its establishment in 1997, Hawthorne House has become Kansas City's premier special events facility and has been selected as the 2007, 2008/2009 and 2010 pick of Best of Weddings in Kansas City by The Knot magazine. When Hawthorne House opened, our mission was to provide each client with excellent service, outstanding cuisine and a professionally maintained facility with beautiful surroundings. Today, that remains our primary goal. Hawthorne House offers our clients an alternative to hotels, restaurants and country clubs. The facility is privately owned and operated. We provide a private, beautifully decorated special events facility, complete with a chapel, gazebo, and a wedding reception room. All are perfectly situated on our eleven acre estate.
