Kori and Matthew met through mutual friends who were convinced we would be perfect together—and they were right! They hit it off instantly.

When it came time for the proposal, Matt made sure it was unforgettable. One random day, Kori’s friends showed up at her house with a heartfelt letter from him and a plan to take her shopping and get their nails done. She knew exactly what was happening, but the anticipation just made it all the more special. After a day out, Kori’s friends had her close her eyes so she wouldn’t know where they were taking her. When she opened them, they were at their newly purchased home, where Matt was waiting on the back porch with the sweetest "Marry Me" setup. It was perfect!

When the wedding planning begun, Kori was excited about everything—the decorations, dress shopping, timeline planning, all of it! When asked why they chose Hawthorne House, Kori said, “I love how picturesque the property is. I know that it will be beautiful no matter what the weather is. We don't have to leave the property to get beautiful photos. I just love it so much!! I had never been to a wedding at Hawthorne, but I knew right away when I toured that I definitely wanted to get married there!!”
