NEUTRAL ROMANTIC SUMMER WEDDING
Samantha and Jared thoughtfully planned each and every detail of their romantic summer wedding, down to the vows they said at the altar. Their neutral color palette brought their classy and organic vision to life. With mismatched bridesmaid dresses and greenery dawned place settings, this summer affair was perfectly planned and seamlessly executed.
The proposal:
“Jared and I had been filling out a journal/scrapbook with pictures and different memories that we had collected throughout our relationship and on our 1 year anniversary, Jared had the idea of going to Loose Park (where we have had many of our favorite dates before!) to sit and go through the journal and reflect on our the past year! Little did I know that Jared had filled out some additional pages - one consisting of a long letter that he wrote to me, and the next being a picture of my ring! Jared proposed and told me my family was back at home waiting to celebrate! When we got to the house, I was so excited to see my family, but was told to go see my brother in the back yard, which turned into being surprised by a ton of my closest friends that came in town to celebrate! I felt so loved that day and was so thankful for the thought Jared put into that day, and all of the people that came to celebrate with us!”
My favorite memory from the wedding day:
“The chapel doors opening at the start of the ceremony and seeing each other for the first time! “
And Jared’s reaction shows it!!! You could not PINTEREST a better reaction than that. You can feel all his feels and it is utter perfection.
One thing I’m glad we did on our wedding day:
“One thing we are so glad we did on our wedding day was write and say our own vows! We were able to express our commitment to one another in our own words with our own touch of personality! We laughed and we cried so much during the, and it will always be my favorite memory of the day. They are currently printed & in frames hanging above our bed!“
What a NEAT way to remember your wedding every single day. I love that Samantha and Jared printed and hung their wedding vows in their bedroom- you plan for (probably) the most important event of your life and it can feel bittersweet when it’s over, but a MARRIAGE? That’s forever. Vows? Those are forever! Incorporating special ways to remember what you are planning for is such a special and joyous way to plan.
