When you host your wedding day at Hawthorne House, you get access to all 11 acres of our property since we host ONE wedding a day. That sounds like a lot of space…and it is! We have photo opportunities galore and can host both an outdoor ceremony and an outdoor cocktail hour without having to quickly move or breakdown chairs. A super fun way to utilize all the lawn space? Having an outdoor bar!

Chris + Amanda celebrated their summer soiree at Hawthorne House with a chapel ceremony, outdoor cocktail hour and scheduled a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony before the reception. If you’re looking for ways to incorporate your personality into your wedding day this is the wedding to find inspiration in- I have never met a couple who organically incorporated so much of their story into their wedding day and it was absolutely incredible to see unfold.

Alright- this is a judgement free zone. If you don’t want to have a kid-friendly wedding, it’s your day and your choice! If you DO want to have a kid-friendly affair, we know that it can be hard to know how to cater to the little ones if you don’t yet have little ones!
